My 25 year old daughter and I just spent a week at Casa Ollin. The owners are wonderful, everyone who works there is kind and helpful,the rooms and gardens are beautiful and we made good friends while sharing the delicious breakfasts in the morning. I am so happy that we chose this very special bed and breakfast to spend time together and visit the very safe and beautiful town of Oaxaca. My favorite bed and breakfast and my favorite place to visit, anywhere. I look forward to returning as soon as possible.

This place was great. You have a wonderful breakfast with everyone in the morning, sharing tips, adventures, ideas along wit a wonderful breakfast. The staff here is amazing. They were kind enough, two nights, to bring me a hot chocolate before i went to bed. The pool is sweet surrounded by beautiful bouganvillea. The pool felt good on our feet after a long day of shopping and touring.

This review is long overdue. OMGish! What an incredible gem we found in Casa Ollin. We had researched hotels and B&B's and chose Casa Ollin B&B based upon the reviews we read. The owners, John and Judith were awesome hosts (the best of the best). They were always there ready to help, and a fountain of information when it came to answering all our questions on Oaxaca.
They have an outstanding staff, beginning with Chef Sophia and her assistant Clara. We were served a most scrumptuous breakfast and beautifully presented, every morning.
Our days in Oaxaca were full of sight seeing and tours, so it was so nice to come "home" to a very clean room thanks to Cecilia. Lucas and Edmundo were always ready to answer any of our questions. We just can't say enough of the owners and staff, they are absolutely wonderful people!
Our room was located upstair, with a very comfortable queen size bed, a full bath, and a balcony overlooking the swimming pool area. The B&B is located in the historical district, on a quiet street, and walking distance from the parks and zocalo. If you are interested in taking Spanish classes while in Oaxaca, there is Becari, just two maybe three doors south of the B&B, or Instituto Cultural de Oaxaca just a five minute walk north of the B&B.
We had an incredible time in Oaxaca and definitely recomment Casa Olli B&B to anyone planning a trip there.

We chose Ollin because of the TA reviews and can confirm that they are true. Owners Judith and John are both friendly and knowledgable, and have assembled a day and night staff that would put hotels to shame. Sophia cooks a fresh breakfast every morning, started with fruit salad with granola and yogurt, fresh orange juice, and little Oaxacan specialty breads. This is followed by an egg-based 'entree', and comes with coffee, and particularly wonderful is Sophia's own recipe chocolate. The B&B is spotless, comfortable, has multiple terraces, and is a few minute walk to most of the sites in central Oaxaca. Judith is also a guide, if you care, and if she is busy she hooks you up with one of her compatriots (we had Pablo take us to Monte Alban - he was wonderful).
