Nice house with nice garden and fantastic breakfast.
It is a great summary of Oaxaca traditions thanks to arts, handcrafts and food that make this place so comfortble and original.

Rather than staying in a hotel my wife and I chose to seek out a small bed and breakfast near the city centre with hotel comforts and Oaxacan vibe. We were aprehensive about this as it was the first time we had taken this approach. We found what we had hoped for and heaps more at casa de mis recuerdos. The accomodation is wonderfully charming, individual, clean and tidy everything you would expect in standard from a good hotel. The patios, flowers and little touches are a true delight, but the highlight must be the wonderfully charming Conchita who provided a different breakfast surprise each morning and spent limitless time chatting and explaining everything from local cusine to tips on the local history. Expect peace and tranquility, stunning breakfasts, beautiful patios, book cases full of paperbacks, and nooks and corners to rest in as well as a great locaion. Do not expect tv´s, minibars or room service for this find a rabbit hutch style hotel but you will be missing out on so much more.

We were extremely satisfied with our accomodations at the Casa de mis Recuerdos. The rooms were very clean and ventilated, and nicely decorated. The main patio of the house we used every day, even inviting other friends to come and sit with us, as it was a comfortable setting, filled with flowers and beautiful Mexican art. No matter what our requests were, the staff responded with a smile. Breakfasts were the highlight of the day. Fresh juices, pan dulce, and fruit with each one. The main courses starred as works of art and were absolutely delicious. Above all, the hostess Conchita made us feel completely at home, and was a delight to speak with. We will return.
