Room clean and very good breakfast. Great location.

We stayed six days in Mexico City, all at this property. Aside from the only room they had available, which was small and airless, (but didn't matter much, because we were out all day) with a squeaky bed, our experience was great. Very pleasant place, arranged in good taste, delicious a la carte breakfast, prepared by a great and very friendly cook on the premises. We met very nice people there, from all over the world, mainly at breakfast time, all happy to be there. Owner and staff get out of their way to help every guest with their travel needs and questions, and they are really kind and knowledgeable.

Stayed here a couple of nights as our first choice place was booked out. Location is great. We had a large room overlooking the street and it had a lot of character, as does the whole place, with neat old furnishings, and interesting art work. Breakfast each day was good and set us up for the day. All the staff were extremely helpful also. We would be most happy to stay again.

Overall it's a wonderful experience staying at Casa Comtesse. Leticia and Thomas are friendly, efficient and attentive. The cheaper room that we had on our first visit was very small and basic but the service, breakfast and atmosphere more than made up for that. We returned for another stay, this time spending a little more on a larger and very beautiful room. The building itself is interesting and nicely styled. The location is great - safe and interesting - with plenty of choices for eating/drinking. It's such a pleasure being at Casa Comtesse.
