“Excellent hotel - very happy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2011

I stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn Express Reforma recently, and was very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel. The room was huge, comfortable, great beds, excellent shower, and fast, reliable wireless internet. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, and the staff were efficient, if not over friendly. Great location, and easy access to everything in the center of the city. I used point from my Priority Club Rewards for my stay, so cannot really comment on 'value'.

“Needs serious cleaning and manteinance”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 December 2010

Key to the room didn't work. Went downstairs to complain, had to make a line again. New key did not work either so we asked for a room change, which they provided. Key worked. Back at night, key did not work. The staff said "it's the batteries". We had problems with that everyday, it was awful because it delayed us all the time. Hotel smells, like someplaces and carpets are dirty. It looks like the hotel hasn'd had proper manteinance since it was built. Pay $10 more and stay at other hotel.

“Nice and comfortable stay in the heart of Mexico city”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 June 2010

This hotel is functional, big rooms, no luxuries, located bang on Reforma and close to many attractions. Centrally located. Service was ok, breakfast is basic. The staff manage basic English and in general cooperative.

“Excellent Holiday Inn Express branded hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 June 2010

I was a bit concerned after reading some reviews here but I can say I was very pleased with my one night stay here. Once dropped off after a long drive and going through traffic getting to the place I was greeted by pleasant people at the desk situated in a small but nice lobby. After a quick check-in I liked what I saw in my corner room on 9th floor. A modern decor with large windows giving a view of the city on two sides. The rectangular layout was a little odd with the bathroom around the corner. The desk was serviceable, the TV was LCD and the bed typically hard but comfortable. I found it quite quiet and so slept well.
And now for the negatives... yes wireless internet was useless but I found wired internet worked well. There was no fridge or microwave. The AC was slow to cool off but worked well. That's it. I did not try their breakfast. Next time in area, I'll go back.
