This was a great location for the purpose of my trip (business) and I didn't spend an overwhelming amount of time there. If I had been there for vacation, the location probably wouldn't have been the best. The room was nice. Spacious, clean, and had everything I could possibly need. It was quiet and I slept well. I wrestled a little with the temperature control, but I suspect that was more a problem with me than the system. The people were extremely nice and very efficient. Breakfast was varied and plentiful.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July 2010. I was really apprehensive after reviewing comments by other travellers. The hotel was booked due to its proximity to the place I was visiting. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The reception area was fine and check-in quick and efficient. I had a room in the tower (6th floor) which was clean, spacious and free internet access. The first morning I was a little late for beakfast, but, there were coffee facilities in reception which was a nice thought and a good start to the day. Tasted fine also. The second morning I was up bright and early and tried the breakfast. It was superb with plenty of choice-hot and cold. The only negative was the noise from the cars in the room due to proximity to a busy road. It wasn't that bad though. I believe the rooms outside the tower are not as good-so request the tower rooms. For the price I could not grumble. There will be clearly better hotels in the city, but, you will pay the premium price.

Very nice public area but the rooms in the towers were dispointing.

Two separate visits with the same result: floors were not vacumed and not face cloth in room. The room had a musky odor which Febreze (fabric refreshener and odor remover) did not touch.

They did respond to the vacume and face cloth request but did not address the smell.

You also had to pay for internet connection.

I brought my American family to Mexico City to meet my wife's family. We booked 7 rooms at this location primarily for its convenient location and because it appeared to be a good value. They had a bit of construction going on (I hear they are becoming a Sheraton) but dust & noise were not an issue. The kids made full use of the pool and the workout center was excellent. The morning buffet had both Mexican & American favorites which allowed my relatives to sample new items at their own pace. Overall I can't think of anything this hotel could have done better. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a bit of sanctuary in the big city.
