“Excellent, good price, decent rooms, great service, and close to many interesting places and metro”

Me and my girlfriend stayed there, we choosed this hotel because it was well rated and had one of the cheapest prices, we needed to visit the US Embassy, and it´s really near the embassy and the CAS ( Centro de atencion a usuarios US Embassy) the room was clean, we asked to be changed for a street view room, the personnel at the hotel was very kind and they gave us all what we needed, the breakfast was excellent a very good price, and the thing I liked the most is that anything you can imagine is near the hotel, restaurants, theaters, OXXO´s, Vips, etc. Other good thing is that there a LOT of security because in front of the hotel is the Police Parking Lot, so we were sorrounded day and night by patrols and policeman, (don´t worry about sirens or something, they are just parked there) and also the Metro Insurgentes stations is really really close, you cant get to it trough a tunnel that leads you right to the station and a mini plaza that´s inside the metro.. and the Internet, is FREE I will sureeely come back.

Room Tip: excellent if you want a cheap, decent , clean roo

“good place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 February 2011

It’s quite good place. Hotel is located near (3 min walk) from metro Station Insurgentes and main streets Pasada de Reforma and Zona Rose. Room was clean and comfortable. We left tips in the room, but they never took it. The windows faced to inner court, so it was quiet in the room. I liked decoration in lift halls: hotel’s logotype on the sand. Quality for this price was very good. I will stay there again.

“Good place, that is all”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 February 2011

Average hotel in Mexico city, near Insurgente metro station.
Honestly, I do not understand people in Mexico taking taxis, the city is always one big traffic jam, and metro, though crowded, serves pretty well. Insurgente square is surrounded by a number of cafes, bars, etc, many of them are gay. So if you want to find this sort of people, Zona Roza is your choice.

Hotel is simple, breakfast not included, but prices for meal are not high. What I want to mention - they exchange euros for pesos (us dollars - no!), and exchange rate is very good, much better than in banks

They have a small business centre on the 8th floor, ask, if you need PC, printer or want to store your belongings.

“Excelent hotel, excelent people, excelent experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 May 2009

Having stayed in this hotel for about 2 weeks I can higly recommend it for anyone who is on a budget and would like to stay near the city centre and be well connected to the rest of DF at the same time.
Yes, the area is a little bit dark and seems insecure at night, but me being a twenty-some woman travelling alone felt just fine. Do not adventure yourself at 3 AM on a working day for it's very lonely, but that's what happens in almost EVERY part of this city. Remember, it's Mexico, not Switzerland.
The hotel staff was always great with me. Me and my family used this hotel as a sort of "base" while exploring the rest of the country and also Guatemala. We stayed 1 night, then left our suitcases with them, went to other cities for a week, then came back, stayed for another night, ask them to give us our luggage, took out some things and gave them our suicases back for them to keep them at their hotel once again and they ALWAYS did it with a great smile and kindness. We must have been very annoying at times and yet they always provide us with a great service.
The restaurant is good, not marvellous but very acceptable and the rooms are big, CLEAN and well equipped considering what your paying for. Very comfortable beds and although I read reviews mentioning some noise, that's because there is a show at the hotel's cafe which ends at 10 PM, but that's normal in Mexico because nobody sleeps earlier than 11 PM. Noise was of NO problem for me and the walls are thick enough for not listening a sound coming from other rooms.
So, a great find in Mexico city. Specially the staff. I am a spanish speaker, maybe for english speakers things might be a little different due to language barriers, but the staff will always be as helpful as they can.
Totally recommended !

“sad service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 February 2009

I was there to do some personal business. I told my friends and family that I was stasying there and gave out the number along with my room number. My family called but they could not get through. The problem being the hotel phone opperator could not speak english. Instead of trying to help she just hung up the phone. My family called over 20 times but each time was hung on , no attempt to find out what they wanted. Sad, luckly it was not a life determining matter, but my family was worried as they could not reach me.
