“Big clean hotel, lacks ambience .. and has dodgy internet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

It's big clean hotel, business traveller class and very nice and helpful and freindly staff.
Restaurant is average, not bad but not particularly good. Bar is in the foyer and lacks any real character; it also closes at 11pm, which is quite early!! Located next to Perisur mall and near to where I am working it is very convenient. The gym is small and not very well equipped, for example the bikes are very old, and the weight machine has 3 stacks for 5 stations, meaning lots of alternating with people if it is busy.

Travelling for business, my main beef is that the internet capability is VERY bad. Wireless only and no ethernet backup, the wireless has been basically unusable for 4 days which is unacceptable. If this continues (they say it will be fixed today, a Sunday \ holiday, so I am sceptical) I will be finding alternative accommodations for the next 2 months.

Room Tip: higher floors have better views and less noise from foyer through atrium

“Radison Paraiso”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 December 2011

If you are in the Southern Mexico City for business, for University matters, nothing beats this chain hotel. Located across the street from Perisur (a gigantic mall), short blocks away from the old paper mill converted into a beautiful series of remodeled old buildings or a short taxi ride to the amazing Ciudad Universitaria (worth a visit even if you have no business there). The rooms are generous in space and well kept, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast is typical Mexican buffet and there are innumerable taxis at the door. The ride to the airport was smooth. Highly recommended. The posted rate is expensive buut I doubt that anyone pays that rate. The University has an excellent rate.

“Near Mall But Needs Updating”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 December 2011

I choose this hotel because you could walk to the very nice mall (and a Starbucks). However, I was disappointed with the experience. While the lobby is nice, the rooms need work. Thin carpet and smallish rooms were a problem. I had to move once because the rooms facing the freeway and the mall were too noisy. The staff was very helpful in this move. Food was not as good as the Royal Pedregal just down the street and although I liked being able to walk to the mall, I wouldn't say here again.

Room Tip: Don't choose a room facing the freeway

“Fair price and good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 December 2011

A nice hotel with a very clean room and great breakfast. Also good meals for dinner. Across the street is a good mall with fancy brands. If it's intended for tourism, maybe other options will suit better as there is nothing to sightseeing close the hotel.

“The worst hotel in my life”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2011

The worst hotel in my life. That is even worse by taking into account its category and number of "stars".
Indeed, apart from the scarce lighting due to exahusted and not replaced lamps, when we came back to our room the second day of our stay we found that the Hotel reused the same USED AND DIRTY towels we used the day before, and on which we walked over. There were very big dirty spots. However, they put again the towels well folded as they were new!
EVEN WORSE: Before checking out, I WAS OBLIGED to pay a tip. Now, apart from the fact that in Mexico this is not the rule, and in any case that must be a my choice, what they did is incredible= on a my ALREADY SIGNED and PAID BILL, THEY ADDED the tip amount by themselves. When I said that I had already paid, they answered that there is a tip indicated over my signature!
