I'd stayed in this hotel at least a dozen times, during 5 years. It is a well located place, in the middle of Zona Rosa, a nice place in Mexico city. It has a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, and also it has the police station like 20 steps away, so there are at least 4 or 5 cop cars outside the hotel. It has a 4 diamond restaurant called tezca on the corner, but you never watch people in it. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is really helpful. You have free internet on all the hotel, and sometimes, depending of your reservation you can get free breakfast. The restaurant is really simple, but rather good. On the mornings, they serve all kinds of bread, eggs, beans, chilaquiles, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, fruit.
One of the biggest secrets in this hotel is outside. They have one of the best tourist taxi drivers in all of Mexico, Mr. Carlos Cuellar. He can take you almost everywhere, he's really helpful. This man really improve our visits to Mexico.
Something you have to consider if you visit this area, Zona Rosa is Mexico's most open neighborhood for sexual diversity, so a lot of people will be surprised with some of the “scenes“ you find during the night.
They also have a big parking lot inside the hotel, and a free gym. They also have a pool on the rooftop, but it is really small, and it is always cold.
Overall this is a great hotel, not too fancy, but not too cheap either.
