“Great value and location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Stayed there in January for 4 nights and we were very satisfied.

Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We were at 6th floor, where few smoking rooms are available. Would be better if we could open the window, but ventilation was working very well.

Location is great, just few minutes walk from Zocalo.

Wireless internet works great.

Breakfast - repetitive every morning, not too much of choice, but sufficient and with coffee machine making good espresso.

There is nice restaurant within hotel with efficient room service – we took some hot sandwiches and they were tasty and fresh.

“Perfect place to stay in Mexico City”

We flew to Mexico city for a 6 day sight seeing trip. The Hampton Inn was in a perfect location. Two blocks from Zocalo,The Presidential Palace, and the subway. The hotel is very clean and secure with a security guard on duty 24/7 who speaks English. All the front desk staff were excellent especially Eric and Alejandro. A very good breakfast was provided complimentay by exceptional ladies. The hotel is served by two restaurants with excellent food at reasonable prices. I would most definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Thank you again. All the staff at Hampton Inn and Suites.

Room Tip: Atrium rooms were a little small but clean quiet and well appointed

This was the cheapest hotel of our 2 week holiday and one of the nicest. The rooms were clean and comfy and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful making many recommendations to us. The roof terrace was lovely and the free breakfast is great. Location makes it such great value- definitely recommend!

“Value for Money and Good Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

people found this review helpful

Value for Money
1) Clean and well maintained
2) Not so expensive, we got a suite room, and we we're given until 5pm late check out
3) Free breakfast, few choices though but good enough and unlimted tea and coffee all day
4) Nice Architecture, in & out. Looks cozy.
5) Friendly front desk staff

Location
1) Near the historic sites and lots of local shops and & restaurants
2) Vicinity is safe, you could walk around until 12mn accg to the receptionist

Helpful taxi tips:
Ask for the hotel taxi rate from the reception, taxi drivers do tend to increase the rate above the quoted price (quite expensive to hire from them)

“Clean, comfortable base in the Centro”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Nice, modern, comfortable rooms, although the internet access is not wireless. The king room with sofabed was an internal room, so no street noise and spacious enough for myself, my partner and our 3yr old. The hotel itself is a couple of streets own from the Zocalo and makes a good base in the heart of downtown Mexico City. The included breakfast was acceptable, although the hot food was omewhat lacking in choice, scrambled eggs and refried beans. However there was a choice of cereals, yoghurts, toast, waffles, fruit and pastries. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The lobby has 24hr wireless internet access and coffee, all thats missing is a bar and some english language newspapers!

Room Tip: You can book aTuribus package but to be honest the bus needs to invest in new speakers and turn the...
