This hotel was recommended by a friend, so we were really looking forward to our stay. We had requested a 2 bed room via internet booking. We were given a room with a king size bed. We insisted on a 2 bed room, and were punished with a room with one tiny window 10 ft up on the wall. There was a good half inch of dust on the stairs, as well as on the headboard of the bed, and the moldings in the bathroom. Food service in the dining room was slow, and the food arrived cold (breakfast and dinner). There was a mariachi band playing outside the front door both evenings until 11 pm, making sleep impossible. Guanajuato is a delightful town, with many interesting things to see and do. It's a shame this hotel detracted from the rest of the experience.
