I have been staying at the Meson Ejecutivo over the last 4 years, i cant complaint about the food since i have never eaten at the hotel. with so many tasty restaurants around the area i am always searching for my next great dinner in guadalajara. The hotels location is perfect. The gallerias mall is 15 minutes away, there is a ice skating arena 1 block away. Italian restaurant/argentinian/ a couple of other fancy restaurants that you can walk to or take a taxi. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and makes your stay a pleasure. (Javier the reservation manager always goes above and beyond) They recently added some suites and the non smoking floors are non smoking. the internet/office area is open 24 hours. starbucks 2 minute by car. I always look forward to arriving at the Meson Ejecutivo. give it a try.

“Not Executive Service...disappointing experience”
This hotel is definitely Mexican style, and not in the good way. First, the no smoking areas reeked...lots of people smoking and walking around with their cigarettes.
Restaurant service...not really. Breakfast was not ready on time, even though several staff members were standing round chatting with one another. When I approached them, after waiting about 15 minutes and not even being acknowledged, they said all the right things. Then, guess what. Nothing happened.
About 20 minutes after I got there another traveller arrived. He had reached the point of bringing his own cereal, and said that every morning it was the same story.
When the food finally started appearing, it was excellent. The service never appeared.
My room was well appointed and clean, but very noisy as it faced the street. I was on the first floor, so staff conversations were audible from the reception area below, and the smoke smell actually woke me up around 3 AM. I couldn't determine where it was coming from; maybe the HVAC vents.

- Disliked — even on no smoking floor, could smell the smoke
