“Don't do it!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2010

Don't be tempted by the inexpensive prices. This place was difficult to find, far away from any fun, and unfriendly. The hotel staff members were rude and ineffective. If you don't speak Spanish, forget it. (I do, but it didn't help.) You won't be able to communicate with anyone. The "gentleman" at the reception desk was either disgusted or bored with every question we asked. The pool is a large bathtub set in the middle of the courtyard. So if you want a mid-day swim. you will be watched by folks eating lunch. The room doors are flimsy so you will hear everything in the hall.

“couldhavebeen better”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2008

I was terribly dissapointed by:
1) location (if you are planning ot see downtown miiiiiiles away )
2) front desk service
Where to start??? I was first waited by a aloof clerk who never made eye contact with me during our transaction. He asked me how I wanted to pay, so I told him I had already paid Expedia. He went out to explain that we needed to pay for one room. I didn't want to deal with them so I took care of it by paying cash. ( I would did with Expedia later) I didn't want to lose my room, so I just pay for it.
Our room was o.k. , no coffe maker, iron, only water. Got in, called for extra towels, nobody answered the phone. Towels- thin.
Water pressure? low, horribly low. Surprisingly enough the bed and pillows weren't as hard as other Mexico hotels... or maybe I am getting used to them???
Had breakfast at the buffet and it was good. Food was good. Cook is there to make omeletts and whatever your heart desires... Service was good...
Called Expedia to clarify mistake, and they were wonderful... (didn't know anything about screw-up) Expedia immediately took care of it. Hotel manager is supposed to refund us our money... 12 hours ago- still waiting... (Dec. 5, 2008)
By the way, our friends stayed in room 2204 and the problems, never seemed to stopped... safe wouldn't work, water all over the bathroom floor, etc...
