It's not a modern place but is in a safe neighbourhood. What I love is that you get a self-contained 1 bedroom cottage to yourself (no sharing walls). The only downfall is no air-conditioning so I wouldn't stay there during the Summer. The kitchen is VERY limited but a modern supermarket is just a block away (just exit the gates, cross the road to the street in front of you and walk one block). They provide drinking water for your suite.
Staff don't really speak english but the lady who stays overnight does. You pay a deposit for your key and TV remote (which you have to ask for). Has cable TV with lots of American english-speaking shows and apparently internet connection.
We stayed in suite close to the reception and away from the main road. By the looks of things this place gets busy so book ahead.
