Terrible place, run down, obsolete, bad smell in the corridors.
It needs an URGENT and DEEP refurbishing

My family and I stayed in this hotel as we were recommended it,obviously by someone who doesn't like us!We were visiting Guadalajara for my nephew's Baptism and wanted to be located near to where the Mexican side of my family live.This hotel is dirty,old and run by very unhelpful and rude staff.My partner and I stayed in one room and my parents were in another but both were as bad as each other.I found dead cockroaches in the draws and we were on the 12th floor!The carpets were stained,old and thread bare and rooms were filthy to an extent that I didn't even sleep in the bed prefering to lie on top as a safer option.The only good thing I can say about the room is the spectacular view from the window,across the city.
We all stayed bed and breakfast and my parents were brave enough to try it once but never again.The food was cold,bland,unappertising and it didn't help when one of the staff members began mopping the floor with a filthy mop half way through eating.My dad has a great appertite normally and even he couldn't stomach the food so we all went to Starbucks in the plaza de sol shopping centre.
On checking in and out the staff were rude and unhelpful to such an extent that we had to lug our own cases up several flights of stairs from the basement where they were put for safe keeping due to a late flight back.
Customer service is non-existent in this hotel,usually you get what you pay for but they even failed on that account.We renamed the hotel "The Toilet Roll"so I think that speaks volumes.My advice is to book elsewhere!

Exelent location the staff was really nice and helpfull, the bar in front of the hotel Was nice but kinda overpriced for a Mexican bar, the only downside of it like I read on previus reviews was how HARD LIKE A ROCK the beds are my back was in pain for the rest of the day lol but that saved me around $100 dls so if you travel on a tight Budget look no further this is the right hotel....

The hallway carpets are grossly stained; they look like they haven’t been changed in 20 years. The room smelled like bathroom. Very expensive for what it is.
