We booked this hotel because we required a 2 bedroom with kitchenette and wanted to be near Playa La Ropa . Each bedroom had an air-conditioner with king size bed . There were no closets or drawers for storing clothing . There is one bathroom which had plenty of hot water once it got there . The living room area came with a chair and sofabed , both of which were filthy . The kitchen came with a dirty coffee maker , a unclean set of dishes and various pots and pans . The refridgerator had been left unplugged with the door closed and no baking soda to absorb the odours . Despite our de-odourizing attempts , the entire unit reeked of some mysterious odour which still persisted 3 days later when we checked out . One bedroom was quiet and the other required earplugs to deaden the noise from the compressor located right outside the window and the braying donkey from across the road . We would not have continued our stay in this unit had it not been Christmas week and there was not a single unit to be had anywhere . This hotel is located on the La Ropa Road , about 3 blocks off the beach . There is onsite parking & a small pool but no restaurant , internet access or vending machines . The owner accepts only cash as payment .
