This property provides an absolutely breathtaking view of Zihua. The five course prix fixe menu is equal to the stunning view. Salvador Abarca and his staff provide an intimate dining experience with impeccable food and service. We will definitely return on our next trip!

Tentaciones is a little slice of heaven. We stayed there in 2008 and wished we had more time. The rooms are beautiful. The views are amazing. The people are very kind, helpful, and professional. I highly recommend a stay at Tentaciones.

My wife and I stayed in Tentaciones for 8 glorious days in July to celebrate our honeymoon and from the moment we arrived until the unfortunate day we departed we were treated like royalty. Salvador and his staff greeted us at the front door to this beautiful hotel and for the duration of our vacation, we would never need a thing. We stayed at Thalia with its own private balcony overlooking Zihuatanejo Bay and frosted-glass French doors leading to the pool right outside. This was by far one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in.

Salvador is a true professional in all aspects and his suggestions were always helpful. He suggested a local market where we could purchase water and snacks and upon our return, there was a cooler with ice waiting for us. He directed us to the better restaurants in town serving more typical Mexican cuisine but was always glad to see us stay in for dinner. He even introduced us to Tamarind Margaritas which we have become addicted to ever since.

The staff at Tentaciones is absolutely the best. Everyone from the housekeeper who always refreshed our room every time we stepped out to Chef Mario who is an absolute artist in the kitchen treated us like family. One night we returned late from dinner and Carlos called our room to make sure we were safe.

Everyone who has seen our pictures of the hotel cannot believe how beautiful this place is. Many comment that we must have spent a fortune. However, this hotel is very well priced for the level of service you get. We have truly found a little piece of paradise on earth and we intend on coming back.

My husband and I spent 9 nights of our honeymoon at Tentaciones and it was the best place we have ever stayed.
The setting - beautiful - the hotel is set high above the beach so the views are spectacular espcially the view of the bay as you lie in or beside the pool.
The room - we stayed in the Thalia suite which is huge. The view from our bed looked out over the bay. The bathroom is very large with a double shower.
The people - Salvatore and his team are so welcoming and can't do enough for you. For 4 of the nights we were the only people staying there and we felt so well looked after while at the same time not being pestered. The service is very personal but never intrusive.
The food - we loved the restaurant - the food and setting with the views as the sun goes down were wonderful. It is a set menu every night but they can adjust it if there are things you don't like. It is probably one of the more expensive restaurants in the area but we loved it so much we ate there 4 times! We also had lunch with them a few times - the shrimp tacos were amazing. Breakfast was good - muesli, the best OJ, coffee and fruit. We tried the huevos rancheros which were good.
The area - Zihua is a beautiful spot. The hotel is a a 10 minute walk from the town where there are lots of small shops, restaurants etc. There are lots of very "local" restaurants where the food is cheap and good. We particularly liked a restaurant called Pollo Feliz that did great BBQ chicken.
One of the things we were surprised about was how most the tourists were Mexican. For us, this made it feel like a more authentic experience and just what we were looking for.
We both loved this place so much and think and talk about it longingly - it is the best place we've ever stayed at and hope we will be able to go back again one day.
