Everything was simply perfect from start to finish. I booked the trip directly dealing via email with the Property Manager Omar who was helpful every step of the way.

Our room was spacious, gorgeous and kept clean daily. The property was designed by an architect and those details show throughout the property.

Our day started out each morning on the terrace eating our continental breakfast overlooking the ocean. The staff was extremely helpful with any request we had and in my opinion went above and beyond we requested.

We will be back!!

We recently stayed in Villa Guadalupe, what a wonderful surprise!! From the moment we met Omar and his wonderful staff, Oscar, Jardin and Juan Miguel we felt right at home on this beautiful property. The view from the infinity pool was truly amazing, the rooms and terraces are spectacular. Every little need and detail was met with a warm smile from all of the staff. Omar made sure we were happy at all times - we can't say enough about his warm hospitality!
Breakfast was wonderful and it was an easy walk to the beach and town from the villa. While on this trip, we looked at some of the other properties we had considered and were so pleased that we had ultimately decided on Villa Guadalupe and we look forward to our next visit!!

Villa Guadalupe sits on the cliffs between Madera and La Ropa beaches. It's absolutely beautiful and perfect for a relaxing few days in Zihua. The staff Omar, Oscar, and Juan Micquel are all very helpful and friendly and work hard to make your time at the villa enjoyable. If you want to walk a few steps to the beach or be in the middle of the tourist bustle, this isn't the place for you. If you want to feel like you have a private villa overlooking the bay and you are more of an independent traveller, this is your spot. Nice pool and communal breakfast area. Great margaritas and food just a few doors down at Kau-Kan. Very convenient for walking both to downtown and to La Ropa beach. Most of the staff speaks some English, but do yourself a favor, and learn some Spanish. Not only will it help you get around, it will also make your time more enjoyable and make you feel more like a local.

  • Liked — It's amazing view of the bay. And, it's privacy
  • Disliked — Nothing for me. It may be too quiet and private for some travelers.

To start off with the place is amazingly beautiful, the owner/builder is an architect and that shows. We went with our 3 children and 2 adults. When we booked our reservation we were told that because the pool on site was very small we would be able to use the pool at there sister property. Of course when we got there (our children who are very well behaved) a couple complained about the presense of children and we were asked to leave in a very nice way. The manager at this small hotel promised he would get back to us as the couple in question would be leaving the next morning but he never did. Both scenarios very unprofessional!
We had rented two rooms at the Hotel, one located directly above the crashing surf, this did not bother me directly, but my wif was not able to sleep. The thought sounded more romantic than the actual continual crashing. This room was tiny with just enough room for a small double bed. The other room I beleive titled the "Candelbra room" was very nice I beleive the builder at one time resided in it. Much larger and very tastefully apointed.
Honestly my main issue though as trivial as it sounds was the fact that they reused the bars of soap, also plenty of half used bottles of shampoo and lotion. When I'm renting two rooms, spending $500. per night on two rooms and using someone elses soap that bothers me. The staff was very friendly and helpful but at luxury pricing I expected a bit more.

This has to be one of the most georgeous B&Bs I have ever stayed at and we frequent a lot of them! The view from our room, our terrace , breakfast area, and infinity pool were incredible. The Villa is high on a hill at the beginning of La Ropa so it is quite easy to walk into town. However, it is best to take a taxi back unless you are looking for an aerobic workout. The rooms were beautiful, very clean and had comfortable beds . Great staff but the breakfasts were very basic.
We had the Villa Maria de Lourdes room and it seemed to hang right over the ocean.
