“A million kinds of wonderful”

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found someplace special. Breathtakingly beautiful views in every direction; quiet little alcoves tucked away here and there made us feel like we were in a private paradise. The location of the hotel is ideal for so many vacation essentials from fun on the beach to exploring the charming town. Loved being able to spend the day engaged in an activity like fishing, snorkeling, or body surfing and then returning to the luxuriously peaceful hotel to relax by the pool and swap greetings with fellow travelers. The staff could not have been more accomodating or delightful. Dinners at the hotel were fabulous, and the staff was helpful with recommendations and reservations for other spots, too. We simply cannot imagine a more blissful destination. Peaceful and romantic, La Casa Que Canta truly exceeded our expectations. We have already booked our third stay.

“the best hotel ever!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

La Casa Que Canta is the best hotel I have ever visited. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The room was so comfortable. The amenities were wonderful. The view of the bay was so beautiful. The pools and sun were great. The food was excellent. I really cannot wait to return. It really was so very, very nice.

“From the minute we arrived, we knew we were in for an unforgettable experience at La Casa Que Canta.”

From the first moment after we arrived at la Casa Que Canta, the resort set itself apart from all others. The "Welcome" fruit tea would be only the start of what became an amazing, relaxing and utterly decadent five-day treat. The hotel's two pools offer romantic oases and breath-taking views. The rooms - each unique and completely private even to their balconies - are comfortable, well appointed and charming, down to the changing and delightful fresh flower petal paintings that the staff leaves on the bed at turn-down every evening. The restaurant offers delicious breakfast options and the kitchen's service is available for delivery everywhere from room service to poolside. A different afternoon fruit smoothie offered to all guests poolside in the afternoon is just another special touch that makes this resort a step or five ahead of any other. Overall, the staff is highly professional and helpful in arranging for activities and meals beyond the resort's walls, but when life inside the resort is so perfect, one is tempted to spend the entire stay in Zijuat with the pleasant pampering offered at the Casa itself. What a marvelous and thoroughly self-indulgent way to spend a mid-winter getaway.

“PRADISE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

We have been to this resort about 6 times...5 years in a row then we returned after a 2 year absence! It is very special...with only 25 rooms we were amazed at the improvements on a property that did NOT need any improvement. Because no additional rooms were added it is obvious to us that the improvements were made "JUST FOR US"..how flattering is that...staff is beyond pampering but not in a condescending way. Food is better then ever and presented in a beautiful, creative way. We have stayed at many beautiful resorts/hotels but La Casa Que Canta is the warmest & most beautiful,...inside and out!

Room Tip: we have always stayed in the same room # 8, beautiful view lots of stairs providing some exercise

“One of the most beautiful Places I've Been”

This was our fourth stay at La Cas Que Canta - obviously we really like it - and it gets better each time. While I have enjoyed stays at Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton resorts in similar locations, I vastly prefer La Casa because it is unique, from its architecture and decor to its rooms to its staff. It is truly beautiful: the public areas are gorgeous, the views are spectacular and the individual terraces are absolutely private and take full advantage of the views. I have never encountered better staff. They are genuine, not scripted, and really care about the service they provide. It is also amazingly quiet and relaxing. You can often have the infinity pool completely to yourself and there are many spots where you can read in the sun without encountering another person. This low key ambiance may not be for everyone, but I love it. The only negative would be for those with mobility issues since it is terraced down a cliff and there are many stairs.

Room Tip: All of the rooms have beautiful views, but if you can afford one with a plunge pool, it's worth...
