We were able to reach the hotel by telephone. Needed a Spanish speaker but confirmed for 12/24 - 12/29. We opted for the unremodeled cheaper room and got one upstairs in the front. Very basic but very clean. On the top floor there was once a bar but we went up there for the fantastic views of the harbor and the church tower on the zocolo in the distance.

The location is great. Walking or biking distance to town center and the beach. (you can rent bikes a Wala Restaurant in town) The neighborhood is quiet and the staff very friendly.

No problems with coffee. Knowing that a good cup is hard to find, we brought our own ground coffee with strainer and made our own. Tho they do offer fresh ground now.

Would definitely stay there again!

Tolerable place if no other alternatives are available. Poorly designed bathrooms with limited hot water. Do not buy any extras - they "offered" us coffee and two days and 12 cups later, they charged us $120 Pesos (about $1 US per cup). We expected a charge, but this was extremely high for instant coffee. Too many other good places in San Blas to waste your time on this place.
