“Want beautiful, relaxing experience in Puerto Vallarta?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 March 2011

We stayed at Casa Andrea for 2 weeks in early March, the staff are very helpful, professional and courteous. The rooms are very spacious with refrigerator, microwave, sink & stove if you want to cook. The beds are comfortable and Andrea is always willing to be of help. The pool is beautiful and there is a hot tub, computer to use is needed. It is near the pier, many restaurants and bars, but it it very quite at Casa Andrea. I plan to stay there again next year.

“If you like dogs barking, this is the place to stay..”

Pool area gets sun for two hours each day, rooms get no sun, dark, dogs barking day and night, cats meowing, five to seven dogs, three cats on property breakfast good if you don't mind dogs pooping while you eat, or peeing on the table legs...Andrea yelling for her workers constantly while shouting at dogs to stop barking.could hear everything guests in next room were doing..even going to the bathroom yuk..not relaxing at all.... I gave items as gifts for staff, Andrea told me they had 24 hrs to give it to her, they came to me crying asking for a note saying it was a gift...Items brought down for charity's, and left at Casa Andrea to be picked up...Andrea decided to keep these items intended for Peace....worst vacation I have ever had in Puerta Vallarta..only one computer and that was out of order for days, internet connection for laptop, not so good......

“Peaceful and Charming Oasis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 February 2011

Warm and friendly atmosphere in a terrific setting of paved courtyards with an "old world" flavor of gracious hospitality. The apartment was large and comfy and spotlessly clean. Daily breakfast varied and could be counted on to be well prepared and tasty, while the dining area setting was casual amidst flowering shrubs. The staff and hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location being close to the beach and tons of shops and restaurants provided a never-ending variety of options for our daily excursions.

“Home away from home”

I was so lucky and happy to spend three weeks in Casa Andrea (after I stayed in the wrong part of town before in a dump). I was in Puerto Vallarta to attend a language school and it was a blessing to stay in this special and beautiful place, with it's peaceful and so beautiful garden/ pool and in my wonderful room with the balcony facing the flowers and the pool. There is very nice and clean kitchen on the balcony and when I didn't want to make advantage of the many fabulous restaurants near by, I was cooking something and sitting on the balcony and enjoying the peacefulness and beauty of the garden. The stuff at Casa Andrea is very friendly and efficient and you really feel like home - especially when Andrea herself cooks fresh waffles each Sunday ;-)) There is a saying that you "get what you pay for" - but in this case I must say, I got MORE than I paid for. It was a wonderful vacation and I can only highly recommend Casa Andrea!

“The Most Charming Hotel in Puerta Vallarta”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2011

Casa Andrea was one of the most charming hotels I have ever stayed in. I stayed there for a month. It’s relatively small, with balconies overlooking this beautiful courtyard with lots of flowers, trees, and a swimming pool. The hotel is more like a pensione than a hotel. Wonderful breakfasts are included and the rooms are spacious. It’s located in the center of the best neighborhood in Puerta Vallarta in the Zona Romantica, 1.5 blocks from the beach and ½ block from the main street Alos Altos. All restaurants and bars are just around the corner. The only drawback, if you consider it as such, is that there is no TV in the rooms. One main flat screen is located in a central area along with a computer. I highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Puerta Vallarta.
