I have had the pleasure of staying at the Hacienda San Angel every year since 2006. This is a real wonder. Janice has taken Richard Burtons old house and turned it into a real palace. The staff at the hotel are excellent, warm and friendly. Oscar, Alex and the other waiters always make you feel special. the food is laways superb, never had a bad meal. The mariachi entertainment is really greta nd makes you appreciate Mexican music. If you get a chance ask Janice, Jaunita or one of the front of house staff to let you see the chapel. Thsi is situatedjust across the road and is spectacular. The view over the city is to be seen. At nightit is perfect vantage point for watching the nightly fireworks. Whether for business or pleasure and especially romantic breaks you really cannot go wrong with the Hacienda San Angel! Looking foward to my vsiit in 2012!

On a recent visit from Seattle, we had the joy of staying at Hacienda San Angel. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were transported to another era. The peace and quiet we experienced, while being surrounded by incredible artwork and furnishings from an earlier time, was just what was needed. We loved everything about our experience - being in a neighborhood but close to the center of town, gorgeous views, numerous quiet places to enjoy coffee or wine, and the various refreshing pools. Most of all, what stood out was the feeling we experienced in this space - italmost felt sacred. Of course, we must mention the wonderful people who take care of us. We were so well looked after by Josephine, Juanita, Theron, and the numerous waitstaff. All were totally delightful and we enjoyed meeting the owner, Janice. The staff are totally attentive while being respectful of your privacy. This is a unique place worth experiencing.

My wife and I went to dinner here after hearing about it the last few years. I have to say, I'm really mad at myself for not going sooner! Talk about romantic. Wow. The ambiance at this place is incredible. And the service was outstanding. Our servers name was Alex and he was great! He walked us through the food and wine menus and was always there when we needed anything. He was also hilarious, so that was a definite plus! My wife works in the business and is used to 4 star hotels and restaurants in the states and says that this place is every bit as good, if not better than most of those. The food was delicious and the highlight of our trip. We will definitely coming back here on our next trip to PV.
