The house was lovely, it was very open and spacious and has a great ambience about it.
They had just finshed builiding waterfall at the back of the property, we turned it on everynight, its was lit up and the sound sent us to sleep.
There were 4 of us, the upstairs bedrrom has a four poster and a balcony and the downstairs opens up to the courtyard and pool, both at opposite ends of the house, we really enjoyed the privacy.
We particulary loved Maria Elena the maid, she could not talk much English but went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, shes a gem, everything was spic and span.
The villa provides a chef on call, wow, try the shrimp, it was our best meal we ate in Vallarta.
All in all, the location is excellent, great service, well maintained, I am coming back next year.

I just finished my stay at Villa Francesca in Puerto Vallarta. I was disappointed. The house is cute and the location is nice, but there are were many things that I didn't like, so I wouldn't stay there again. The pictures and descriptions from the website are not accurate. You don't have a clear view of the Guadalupe Church from the terrace since it is obstructed by two taller buildings. There is only a limited view of the ocean. The dipping pool is actually a jacuzzi that wasn't functioning until our 7th night. The upstairs bedroom gets very warm in the late afternoons and early evenings. There is no air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom. The upstairs bedroom is not blocked off either since there is a art niche that is open, allowing you to hear everything going on downstairs (and others to see your bed) even when the bedroom door is closed. Both bathrooms are downstairs, so if you sleep upstairs, you must go down/up a steep flight of stairs to use the restroom in the middle of the night. The maid does not really clean like you would expect. There was a lot of mold & mildew in the shower. There was hair in the shower, sinks and beds. We ran out of toilet paper twice since the maid does not replenish the supply.
