This is the place to go if you are looking for a great quiet hotel with no kids and blaring PA by the pool. Adults only, with a superb staff willing to be of service. As others have mentioned, great views, great food, and your choice of 9 different pillows to sleep on. That was a first for me.

I just returned from the Villa Premiere and had such a wonderful vacation! I travelled with a group of 4 ladies. The resort was great. We saw whales and dolphins jumping right from our balcony. The food, the rooms and the location were really perfect. We loved walking to the Malecon every evening to go shopping. It was so great to be able to go to bars, restaurants and do shopping all with an ocean view. We always felt very safe.

Some that we talked to at the hotel said that next time we shouldn't do all-inclusive. Although we enjoyed the all-inclusive food and beverages, I understand their point of view. There are great and inexpensive restaurants close to the resort and a grocery store about 2 blocks from our hotel so you could pick up snacks, meals, mixings for cocktails & beer really, really cheap.

The resort is pretty quiet during the day and at night. The pool was really quiet (spa music) and there wasn't a ton going on at the hotel. Which was perfect for us but I think may drive a really active person crazy. At night, we would head over to the sister resort to enjoy a cocktail. The bar there was much livelier.

A special shout out goes to Javier, the pool waiter. He took such great care of us during our stay. Thank you, Javier!!

We've stayed here several times. It's the nicest hotel that is located withing walking distance to downtown and the malecon. We were greeted with a glass of champagne, and a welcome massage. I can't say enough about the food...it's really fantastic. The staff are very helpful and responsive. The views from the rooms are awsome. We were there last week, and there were humpback whales breeching in front of the hotel during breakfast. What a sight! If you're staying as a couple, the suites are fantastic. This trip, I traveled with a girlfriend and we needed 2 beds. Unfortunately, the only choice was a basic room, that was rather small. It would have been nice to have a 2 bedroom suite. The internet was bad in the room, and was not available in the room for a couple of the days. The view of the empty lot next door is not very pleasant either. But, overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you want to be within walking distance of downtown.

This is the first time we have stayed at a boutique hotel and the Villa Premiere sets the bar very high! I lost track of how many guests that we met were there for their 4th, 5th or 6th time. The rooms were very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. We had the standard room, which was small but it did not matter because we were not there very much. All ocean view and we left our patio door open each night and fell asleep to the sound of the crashing waves. Not a party hotel but that was exactly what we needed. The view, the pools, the service, the proximity to town - all excellent. You can buy into the all-inclusive option per day which is a great option. We did not because we love to go into town and try the different restaurants but the guests that we talked to that were all inclusive were very happy. I plan on returning.
