Regular tariff is $110... if you are online it's $58 (when we booked)... and that's great value. We booked 2 nights so we could be handy to the airport, and stayed 8!....The beds are very comfortable, the towels are soft and thick, the rooms are clean, and the staff friendly and helpful (English spoken). Sure, someone reported it as being 'run down' - 'weathered' would be better - but they were painting out when we were there.
The hotel is in the Marina, so there are millionaire's boats in front to make you feel rich, and it is away from the noise of downtown. Any sort of restaurant is close by, from the $5 comida corrida for the budgeters to the $30-a-plate high end. The Palapa Restaurant attached to the hotel serves the best tortilla soup we've ever had, and the chilaquilles are to die for.
If you want to walk to it from the airport, it would take no more than 20 minutes. The $10 cab fare is steep, as ever, but the bus outside the airport is handy - get off the stop after Plaza Neptuno (Whale sculpture on RH side) and walk 2 blocks to the right, and turn left at the waterfront - you'll see the hotel sign (illuminated at night).

I have stayed here over the years, 20 plus times and always come back. It is right on the marina with some great views. Rooms are clean & nice though somewhat spartan but offer great value. The TV reception is a little shoddy but I do not come here to watch television. The grounds are well kept and the pool area with palapa is totally Mexico. Food is average and service is always excellent. I usually do not eat dinner here as there are many restaurants on the Marina that offer a wide range of food choices and prices all within an easy stroll. This is a hotel that is mostly used by Mexicans on vacation. If you are looking for good value and a more Mexican experience then the
Flamingo is for you.

Lovely spot on marina in Puerto Vallarta. Elevator to 4th floor then up a flight of stairsvto highest level. Large clean rooms with TV with no reception but great balcony overlooking pool and marina. Shower opens onto toilet which didnt flush well. free wifi in open air lobby.
