my family just came back from a week at this hotel. We had a one bedroom, the view was beautiful from our balcony overlooking the beach. We loved the staff. We were able to take a bus to town and cab's back. We discovered a little store in town Guadalajara Pharmacy that carries alot of food.

I stayed here in 2006 for business. Let me say this place I fell in love with and would probably buy a room to live in for frequent vacations if I could afford it. We stayed in a 3bd/3b "condo" unit that was nicer than my house. The "master" bedroom was the size of a living room and each of the two bedrooms was the size of a regular hotel room !
The staff was friendly, we walked to the beach where there was a "tiki" hut that was their restaurant and ate fresh fish, veggies and just about anything you could ever want while sitting on the beach. The hotel even had our clothes laundered for us and they not only cleaned our room, but made it look like when we first checked in each day.
The staff asked that we take into consideration the amount of "senior" residents/customers they have as so we would not disturb anyone, which I though was nice so we could work in private and not worry about a bunch of kids running around.
Stayed there again, but it has changed little, while Mexico has changed alot.

We spent a glorious 2 wks. at Lindo Mar. The rooms are immaculate and the views are spectacular! Very friendly and helpful staff. The location can't be beat. Close enough to town to walk or a short cab ride and just far enough away to have quiet and privacy on their beautiful beach. The restaurant on the property is great too! What more do you need?

This place is too good to share. Shh. This small resort is an absolute gem and needs to be experienced to believe everything that everyone is saying about it. Ocean front - every room with floor to ceiling doors that open onto your own balcony or patio if on the ground level. Restaurant on the water that is frequented by many locals and guests alike.
The service from the main desk, the concierge, the cleaning staff, the towel guy,to the wait staff in the restaurant is outstanding. It is a timeshare place but you will never get hassled into taking any sales pitch.
From the location to the experience at the resort there is nothing to complain about. If you are looking for a mega resort with 100 acres of grounds, then keep looking. If you are looking for a relaxing resort with an incredible ocean front location, Lindo Mar Resort should be on your list. If you like it - keep it to yourself - Shh.
