Attention to detail.....location...location....location...The staff here is one of the best in my experience abroad, only next to cruise ship personnel. Soronia grocery is around the corner, for big box devotees Wal-Mart,Sam's within walking distance...three blocks up the street local seafood and food vendors where locals go, reasonable prices to boot.Local artisan market 3 blocks away....be prepare to haggle,if you have smart phone google prices to get parameters, Abraham one of the better concierges' and Salvador is the go to man for all the good places and prices in PV....succinctly this was home away from home....the bar staff is superb and don't miss happy hour from 5-7p....on the tours offered check around as you can get better prices with a little research.....overall 4 out of five..only because it not free!

Room Tip: Ocean front/penthouse if you can afford it

My Husband and I traveled to Vallerta Torre for a 13 day vacation during his birthday. When the staff found out it was his birthday the presented us with a bottle of tequila. The one bedroom was wonderful. It overlooked the pool and the beach. Clean and well cared for. Drinks pool side was the best. The sunsets were specular. It was a wonderful trip. The night life was fun and exciting. It was one of our best vacations. We plan to do it again real soon.

“Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2011

My husband and I stayed at the Vallarta Torre Sept 24-30, 2011. We had such a wonderful experience. I selected the Vallarta Torre to spend our 25th wedding anniversary and was a surprise for my husband. I made arrangements with Eduardo ahead of time to do several things for us. He did a wonderful job. Very accomodating and thoughtful-from the flowers in the room, to helping us locate a minister to renew our vows, arranged a special dinner. Everything I asked of Eduardo, he came through. The rooms are up to date, clean and it seems as though every room has an ocean view. We even got to release sea turtles the first night of our arrival! What a fun experience. We loved every minute and will definitely be returning.

“Surpassed my expectations!!”

My family stayed at this resort from Aug. 27 - Sep. 1. The resort is a 15 minute drive from the airport and is close to the marina, the mall and wal-mart. There is a bus stop right in front of Soriana's where you can catch the bus to go to the Malecon and to the South Zone. We rode the bus whenever we could and we had no problems with traffic, finding our stop or going down the bus. We asked when we did not know and the other passengers were more than willing to help. For 6.50 pesos each, it was a cheap and fun way to experience PV.

I was very impressed with our one-bedroom unit at the 4th floor which has a breathtaking view of the ocean. From our balcony, we would have our coffee every morning and watch the sun rise. The kitchen was well-equipped with modern and efficient appliances that made cooking quick and easy. I was able to grill steaks on the hot plate on the gas stove The TV had cable and we were able to watch international news and shows whenever we wanted. There were more than enough towels (white for inside and blue for the beach or pool) that were supplied by the resort. The resort was always clean and the staff tried their best to keep people entertained.

The Soriana Supermarket located right across the hotel was very convenient for us so we go there everyday to buy fresh bread and pastries (they have a nice selection of baked goodies), steaks for dinner and even beer and tequila. The prices were reasonable and there was a good selection of items. Right across the cash registers is a row of shops and one of them is My Vallarta Experience Tours and Travel. They sell a wide variety of tours and the customer service person named Julia was very helpful and warm. She would even go with us to the pick up point to make sure we rode the correct van or that we did not have to wait for a long time. We bought 2 tours (Canopy River ziplining adventure and Luxury Sailing by Vallarta Adventure) and received a city tour for free.

The strength of Vallarta Torre lies in its staff. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel welcome with Salvador giving out welcome drinks and the Vacation International people, Ancy and Yuri answering your every question with a genuine smile. We had their Sunday brunch buffet at the Jardin del Sol Restaurant and was again impressed with the hardworking and polite staff. The staff at the bar were also great even during Happy Hour when it tends to be very busy. The staff just gave the impression that they were having fun while working hard and that they are really happy to see you. They pamper you but at the same time give you your space and time to relax.

Room Tip: Choose a room at the 3rd or 4th floor so you can easily take the stairs if the elevator is full.

“This place is great!”

We stayed in this hotel in mid-August for our family vacation and we were very impressed by the room we were given and by the helpful & knowledgeable staff. The spacious one-bedroom unit we were given was on the 7th floor and had a gorgeous ocean view from the balcony. The kitchen was fully equipped. Our only complaint was that the beds were rather hard. This hotel is conveniently located close to the Marina Vallarta, the Soriana Grocery store and a bus route to Centro. There are a few restaurants nearby, but to find really good food, you still need to go downtown.
