Had a great time with my Red Devils at the Velas Vallarta. Service was top notch and the food was great. We were well taken care of at the pool by Gilberto. He made sure we were never thristy and never hungry. He even made me a birthday dessert. If you go, make sure you hook up with him...you won't be disappointed. The resort can use a bar to hang around after the pool closes...maybe a sports bar. We will be back.

The resort is very nice with beautifully well kept up grounds and very quiet. The food was good but not much variety with only two restaruants to choose from. Our service around the pool area was wonderful. Marcelino was funny and very attentive to all our needs, bringing fun new drinks and food to us all day long. We missed having a place to gather with a nice bar, not a very welcoming lobby area. it is close to the local wharf and flea market by bus or taxi and there is lots to see and do.

Amazing holiday, excellent resort and great overall experience!
Jacinto (waiter around the pool and beach) is awesome at what he does and we developed a great relationship with him by the end of our holiday, I would recommend to anyone staying at the Velas to get to know Jacinto, really nice guy with a great sense of humour!

This resort needs to be upgraded. First the lobby. There is no bar or outher place to meet friends. There is no WiFi. Just six screens to serve the hole resort. As far as the food goes it could be better. They have only one real resturant on site. The two outhers you have to get up a 6.30 am and stand on line for the 12 openings at off site locations. Thats right just 12 for the hole complex. The rooms are right out of the seventies. The service was good and the pool bar staff were great. Don't think we will go back to this resort.
