We had just spent a beautiful week at our timeshare and decided to spend the last weekend in Old Vallarta and was refered to this hotel. We arrived in the late afternoon and tried to check in, when we arrived at the front desk one of the ladies at the front desk asked us if we here checking in when we said Yes, she asked us to move to the other side of the front desk...we did and waited about 5 minutes, then the lady on that side asked the same question, once we answered she asked to move to the side we were at the 1st time...we did and again waited another 5 minutes or so, then a 3rd time where asked if we where checking in and they again asked us to move to the other end..by that time my husband wasnt happy, we moved and waited again, but this time they acknowledge us and ask us to hold for a minute...after about 3 she helped us and checked us in...once we got our keys the very helpful bellboy took us to our room, we where give a nice poolside room on the 1st floor, when we arrive our keys didnt work and we could see thru the window that the room wasnt clean and that there looked to be someone still in it...my husband and the bellboy went downstairs to correct this, when they returned we were escorted to a very small room at the back of the hotel, no view but the noisey alley, we should have complained and asked for another room, but by that time we where hot and tired and gave up. we should have complained as we ended up not getting much sleep either night due to the noise and the musty smell coming from the air conditioner.
The Pool area was very nice and the beach was beautiful and the bell boys where very informative and helpful when ever we asked for help. good area to be in with alot of resturants and food vendors close by.
