We stayed five nights at Hotel Hacienda, it is a charming hotel but billing practices were problematic for us. At checkin we were first told there were no rooms, then a change and there was one, we asked about a length of stay discount and told there were none available.
We talked with three other guests who were given discounts, for one night stays we paid 83 dollars a night, (70 plus 13 for stove and dishes) two other guests reported they were charged 50 dollars, and another would not say but it was less than 50. We were also placed in a second floor room, the lower rooms are noisy from street traffice and had no light blocking curtains. To be fair we were moved by another receptionist when we asked to be moved.
I would be cautious about staying here unless you are really willing to advocate for yourself. I speak some Spanish but not fluently. Thought I have to say the resort is nicely located and views are good.
