Discussed the lack of security with the hotel due to 2 murders outside of our unit in your hotel which response was that they had security. Your security is NO SECURITY> Hearing AK-47 machine guns outside our room as we were eating our lunch was terrifying.
They are well aware that there is increased violence in the Golden Zone so why are they not taking additional precautions to protect their customers.

With a great location and a beautiful oceanview, Las Flores was all we expected and much more. The service was great, food was delicious and the rooms are comfortable and ample.

I decided upon this hotel because of its central location was ideal. Mazatlan a vibrant city with dinner and night life starting no earlier than ten! Being able to sightsee, shop, eat, drink, all within an easy walking distance was so worth it. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. We had a family room for three and it was very clean. With the window and terraze overlooking the ocean. We had breakfast all days at the hotel and the food is delicious. Some days we stayed at the hotel for lunch and it was very good too. They cooked regional dishes, but if you want these dishes with no "chile" they will cook it . For sure, we will return, since they have activities for all ages

All services we experienced at the Las Flores hotel were the best. The room, a junior suite, was cleaned thoroughly everyday. This suite was perfect for us as we had a beautiful view of the ocean and sunrise/ sunsets from our balcony. The gentle sound of the ocean at night lulled us to sleep...truly a paradise. The beach is the best for swimming.

The location is perfect, close to other hotels, businesses, restaurants, bus service and only a few minutes to historic Mazaltan. There was nothing we did not like about this hotel. We would highly recommend it to those wanting to visit Mazatlan.
