Agua Azul is definitely a hidden gem, the hosts Brooke and Rick are very helpful if you need anything or if you want to go anywhere. They have compiled a book with menus from restaurants around the area, but we found that the best thing to do was to just go and walk around in town around 7pm. We found the rooms very comfortable and when asked, we were provided with a hair dryer and extra pillows.
There was construction on the beach, so it was loud during the day, but it wasn't that bad. A couple things that I would have added or changed was the refridgerator situation, Brooke and Rick provided one in the common area, but had all of the rooms been booked, there wouldn't be any room for everyone's food. I would suggest that they put small ones in every room for the convenience of the guests.
The breakfast was good, freshly squeezed orange juice, sliced fruits and breads and pastries, however, I didn't find that it was enough variety for my taste. The pool and grounds are well kept and there are many birds, geckos and frogs. We had a very relaxing time and definitely go back again.

Huatulco is a beautiful setting in its own right. Agua Azul makes the best of its location by providing ample and comfortable rooms, each with a private terrace and beautiful views to the ocean. The charms of a small, six-room hotel are more than evident in this B&B, with efficient service and warm personal attention provided by its owners, Brooke and Rick. Small here doesn't mean in any way constrained; the common areas are spacious, with double-height palapa ceilings which, aided by the cool breezes that make their way through the huge windows open to one of the beautiful bays of Huatulco, guarantee comfortable temperatures at all times, day or night. Free-of-charge Wi-Fi internet connection is also at guests' disposal, a great bonus for anyone in need to stay in touch with the outside world from time to time.
All in all a wonderful experience. Don't think twice, whatever the purpose of your trip to Huatulco is, Agua Azul will surely fulfill and in many ways surpass your needs and expectations.

We spent four nights at Agua Azul La Villa, on our first visit to Huatulco. The area is lovely, and staying at Agua Azul made it into a perfect, relaxing vacation. The hosts, Brooke and Rick, are Canadian expats, who have lived in Mexico for 12 years. They are warm and entertaining, and were very helpful -- giving us tips about restaurants, secluded beaches, and even dropping us off at the beach two mornings as they were heading out for errands. The B&B has breathtakingly beautiful grounds, and is a comfortable home base for a visit to the area.

We stayed at Agua Azul for 5 nights and the owners, Rick and Brooke couldn't have been more helpful. The house is lovely, our terraced room very comfortable. All rooms face out to the bay with stunning views. The delicious breakfast and coffeee gave us a good start every morning.
