My partner and I went to Acapulco for a business conference as well as for a holiday and we couldn't have been happier with the accommodation and service provided here. It was recommended to us by a friend and the owner Ken was extremely helpful in all aspects and played a big part in making our stay at Villa Vidimar and Acapulco itself really fantastic.
The location is behind the golf course and very quiet however is also close to the main strip (very easy walking distance - i was some what hesitant about the distance even after viewing it on the map however it is much closer than it appears). In saying that though there are plenty of Taxi's that go past at the end of the street. There's a a huge balcony overlooking the bay and lights of acapulco, which is somewhere we spent a bit of time winding down at the end of the day. A full kitchen was available for guests use in addition to a fridge in the rooms
Ken always had hot coffee (great coffee!!) waiting for us in the morning and tips/advice on places to see and things to do. The room had a safe which we used however we left a few valuables/money out on a number of occassions and never had any problems. The cleaning lady was very good and we never felt concerned about security. This really is a hidden gem and would most definately recommend it.
