“Nice rooms, not crazy”

Oceanic was a pretty good find but not crazy and spring-break oriented if thats what youre looking for. The rooms were nice, clean, and had great views and the pool was gorgeous. The promised 5-7 happy hour at the pool didnt exist..and it was mostly mexican families vacationing. The upside is it was a very short walk down the beach to where some cool beach parties were goin on and we also had a nice quiet and air conditioned rooms to come home to after a long long night! We heard from other spring breakers of rooms with no air conditioning, no fridges, and dirtyness. So its a toss up...would you rather have a bunch of spring breakers to hang out with at the pool and ----- rooms or nice rooms and no people? Also, if you were promised a suite, make sure you get it! We didnt and the6 of us were split up into two different rooms. And the strore and restaurant downstairs (Sambornes) were helpful for phone calls and whatever. NO tour reps were anywhere tp be found and several tiems we walked down the street to Casa Inn for help.

“Great place for the family”

We ran into trouble with a beach house and were lucky to find Oceanic 2000. We had 12 adults and 3 kids in 2 suites next door to each other.
The prices were $100-$120 a night (off-season), which was extremely reasonable. This was an excellent location and the pool was very nice.
I would recommend not renting a car. The police were very corrupt and take every opportunity to stop you in a rental car. There are many cabs and the clubs, stores and restaurants all within walking distance.

“Oceanic was awesome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 June 2003

Oceanic was very cool. Its kind of hard to find beacuse its inside Sanbourns and a movie cinema. But the rooms are very nice and very cheap. We stayed there for 60 bucks a night and it was 4 people. I think that was pretty cheap. Not only that but your right on the costera and the beach is a one minute walk from the building. I counted :) its right behind oceanic. You are right next to a club called o'blue which looks really cool. its looks liek a castle. and then acrosss the street is baby O. these clubs are about 5minutes walking from Oceanic.
THe nightlife is so close that its awesome. You even have walmart and ici "a water park with dolphins." Buy water at walmart for super cheap.
5 pesos for a like 3 liters of water. yea its definately worth it.
