“Basic Accomodations”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2005

If you are looking for a cheap stay in Acapulco with pretty basic accomodations, this place may do the trick. The motel and rooms are quite old (property must have built back in the 1970s at the start of the tourist boom in Acapulco).
The hotel itself has an outdoor restaurant, a tennis court and a pool (plus a small kids pool). To get to the pool and ammenities, you must cross the parking lot.
Beware of the location of this motel...
The hotel itself is located across the street from a VERY busy street and close to the Cruise ships. The beach here is not nice whatsoever with all the fishermen and boats that take up most of the beach area.
There are no decent restaurants nearby...the main tourist area and hotels are approx a 15minute cab ride away on the other end of the Bay.
I would recommend staying at a new hotel near the tourist areas.
