We are new to Saltillo and staying here until our belongings arrive. The room itself is not bad and atleast the beds are clean and comfortable. Overall things seem a bit shabby. Water in the showers has been hit and miss. Most of the time it is barely warm. One morning the water was not working until 9:30 am (not even a trickle out of the faucets). Our unit is designed for extended stay and is NOT very well equipped. We had to request hot plate for cooking and all they sent was one frying pan and no cooking utensils. It has been interesting trying to prepare meals. Restaurant seems to be open only for breakfast.

They offer wireless connection but it only works periodically. Haven't tried the business centre so perhaps it works in there.

One big disappointment has been the front desk staff. They do not seem very friendly or accommodating. In general I find people in Saltillo to be very warm and helpful, including the restaurant and housekeeping staff here. If we could just avoid the front desk things would be much better!

To sum it up, I think the hotel could use a general facelift and some new faces at the front desk to improve the overall quality.

We have been staying at this hotel for years on our way from Dallas to San Miguel de Allende. It is super clean, super safe (parking lot, fenced with a 24 hour guard and gated). Rate includes breakfast, which is sometimes better than other times, depending on the staff at the time, always edible. Always friendly, helpful service.

Rate includes wireless internet and decent cable TV. Beds are comfortable. Good heat and air.

We always ask for one of the rooms in the row at the back of the hotel, farthest to the west as possible.

There is an indoor pool and jacuzzi, bring your suit.

Always plenty of ice!

Never encountered an odd odor, as posted by someone else.

In response to the post about the long term tennant, I, too, would have rented an apartment to enjoy the local culture.

However, as a tourist driving through town, it is a great stop.

Be forewarned, there are no restaurants within walking distance other than the hotel and the food is not the best.

We splurge at the supermarket and do a picnic in the room.

Hello I have been staying here for the past month. I been working nights an I told the front desk . Please no room service untill akter 4;00p.m. But everyday they call my room and ask if I would like room service between 1;00 and 3;00p.m. I had to disconnect the phone which is not safe case of a emergry but I have to sleep. Just this week no Detergent to wash cloths they were out . NO cigarretes of any kind. both in store items.I will tell the company I work for, next time I need to come to Saltillo to book me somewhere else.
