“Loved staying there”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2009

Good breakfast each morning 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights (6:30 to 8:00) they have a manager's cocktail where they have heavy appetizers or light snacks – even sandwiches.
Hotel is very well kept and clean. Maybe 1 out of every 5 employees spoke good English.
Hotel says the drinking water is purified. I drank bottled water there – but used the ice machine ice w/o any problems.
Lobby always has coffee – 1. Strong flavored 2. Regular 3. Decaf. There is a dispenser for hot water and tea bags (camomile, lemongrass, and black).
There is a shopping center next door that has Applebee's, McDonald’s, Starbuck's, an Italian restaurant, HEB (kinda like WalMart), ATM, Bank, Christus Muguerza medical clinic, dentist/optometrist, dry cleaner, bakery, UPS/FedEx shipping, a food court, and a movie theater.

“Good location, pleasant stay”

We have stayed at this hotel on a number of visits to Monterrey, and all have been very pleasant. We would stay there on every trip but the rates fluctuate substantially given the time of year, market conditions, etc. I expect that is not the fault of the hotel itself, but set by Hilton. If you are traveling with children, there is a shopping center right next door witha food court, play area and a number of stores, including a very large H.E.B grocery (like Wal Mart, with much more than food) and a pharmacy. The hotel is set off the street and has good security, the desk staff speaks English and is very cordial. I understand the hotel is close to most medical facilities frequented by Americans, and they have free shuttle service, as well as cabs, which we have found to be safe, standing by. Pool area is nice and well kept, as is small exercise room and business center.

“Business hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2006

Our doctor's office booked this hotel for us as it's near their office and the hotel gives free transportation to the private hospital.
Everyone is nice, helpful, and speaks English. There is a mall right behind the hotel. The rooms are pleasant. Next time we are going to stay someplace that is not close to a mall and has some views of the lovely Sierra Madre mountains which surround Monterrey. This hotel is okay for business purposes but not for relaxing and vacation.

“Very Friendly Staff”

This hotel is in a great location. Lots of great restaurants in the area, which you can get there by riding the free hotel shuttle. There are also a couple of malls nearby. One is right next to the hotel, and the other one (which is nicer) is right accross the street. The staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast buffet was not great, but they offer a happy hour in the afternoon with free local and imported beers, and pastries. Rooms were clean, although I felt that the cleaning crew was in the hallways all day long. It did not matter what time of day. One day I got my new bath towels at 7 pm. I do have to agree with the other review that the front desk is a little unorganized. Overall the negatives were small and it wwas a pleasant experience.

“Great Hotel in Monterrey”

Hotel has great location, there's a McDonalds next door as well as Applebees, Sanborns, and other restaurants. All staff is very friendly but front desk is a little disorganized. Rooms are super clean as well as entire property. Hotel has shuttle service but you need to make reservations in advance. Next to the hotel there is a place called Caliente whre you can play bingo or bet on horses. Overall a great experience.
