The cabin was nice and roomy, if sparse, and the location was excellent for hiking in the mountains. The views are spectacular, and the weather is much cooler than Monterrey below. However, the service was curt and impatient. The staff aren't helpful at all. AVOID THE RESTAURANT. The food is horribly expensive and ranges from mediocre to bad.
I recomend it for anyone that wants to do some serious hiking in the mountains; however, come prepared with your own food unless you want to spend a small fortune in the terrible restaurant. Also, it's about 200 pesos and 45 minutes for the cab ride down, so plan for not having convenient access to town. The amenities advertised on the website do not seem readily available, there's no brochures and the staff don't do much to help you figure it out.
If I could do it all over again I'd probably stay in town and take a cab up for hiking all day then take a cab back down that evening.
