Stayed there last night. Was a bit suspicious as it does not appear on Lonely Planet, but it was so close to the station and I was so dead tired I decided to give it a try. Well...
Very nice couple, reconverted from finance/it to their own hostel. They manage it by themselves and one can notice it, although they told me that the only started 2 weeks ago. Clean sheets, clean bathrooms. Ranch style, like, you have to sit on horse saddles to chat at the reception.
Their cyber-cafe was not ready yet, so they lend to me their own reception's PC to check my emails - free of charge.
A funny idea was this big home theatre. Although I was tired, the screen was so big I couldn't help watching Ray Charles story.
I like to wake up early (5 am), have a hot shower and breakfast. Surprisingly enough for Mexico, upon my request, I was served my light breakfast in the main room at 5:15 am, which does not happen so often in Mexico.
When I left, they offered to me for free some fruits to take away. How charming.
I would say that this hotel, quality and comfort wise, is worth the price, although a bit more expensive than the one in Creel.
