I normally don't write these- My Experience, Clean, but a musty smeel in our room ( the carpet looked like it go wet at one time, dur probably to a bathroom overflow). I book the King Suite for $48.00, and we got a queen. The guy at the front desk explained they had no more kings, but the queen is the same price. Its a block off Revolution Ave so its nice not to have the noise
The on location resturant was beyond poor. We swa a sign about the bruch and it sais 20 piso, so I thought abot $1. 50 per person was cheap. We both had breakfast from the bunch buffet which consisted of soggy chiliqules (a spoon ful and about a half an egg. Cost us $17. What a rip!
The main issue with TJ hotels, is most of the hotels don't do internet booking. They were giving rooms away at Ceasers (walk ins) only for $30. I think yiu could do pretty well, if you just look around with Cash in hand. The economy is really bad and the folks who own the smaller hotels will also work a deal.
This hotel did the job, but not by much
