I am sitting here writing this while waiting for my wife to go have breakfast at Orlando's which is supposed to be very good and just around the corner from Hotel Luna.
Originally we where staying at Club Palmara Dos in Casa #3 which had go reviews and showed well in the pictures. Looks can be deceiving. Upon arrival the place seemed run down and dirty so we decide to leave. After packing up and talking to the leasing agent we started to leave when the power went out. No air conditioning, no TV, no nothing. We then took a taxi to Hotel Luna were I first intended to stay. When we arrived at the hotel we found a No Vacancy sign hanging on the gate. Talk about disappointment. Right next door to the hotel is the Giggling Dolphin which is very good in fact excellent and we went in for lunch. After lunch we decided to check the hotel again and met Alberto who said he for got to take the No Vacancy sign down. After explaining to him that we needed to get a taxi to go back to Casa #3 to retrieve our luggage he offered to drive us there instead. What a great person. One doesn't meet outstanding people like this very often. Another thing about Hotel Luna is it's location which is close to the happening things. Please try Hotel Luna, you won't be disappointed.
