“Beautiful details, excellent service and nice terrace!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2010

Entering to the hotel I felt like being in an old colonial house. The architecture and decoration is just awesome with lots of small details (a fountain, handicrafts, pots etc). Upstairs there's a terrace where they serve the breakfast, and you can see the mountains and the sea. The room we were in was quite small, but very comfortable. There's a spa where we had a couple massage with my husband, lovely! The service was great, the staff gave us great recommendations concerning dining. They also organize day trips, but we didn't stay enough for that. This is such a beautiful place, I definitely want to go back!

“A unique boutique hotel filled with Mexican Authenticity”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2010

This charming little boutique hotel is situated in the historic district off the main plaza. The decor has been beautifully thought out in a rustic, authentic Mexican theme with large comfortable furniture casually set in and around the public spaces. The pool is quite amazing — it's a rooftop pool with a clear bottom that shines through three stories to the lobby level. And, in this open penthouse area, there is a lovely rooftop bar. Service is excellent, the rooms are equally quaint though most do not afford views given the hotel's location. The manager is professional and extremely hospitable. Just off the hotel is an indoor outdoor bar where you can sit and order a drink and watch the activities in the plaza area. You feel like you've stepped back in time. I highly recommend this hotel —
There is a spa which wasn't open on the Sunday I was there, but hear it's great!

“A magical experience for us both...the authentic Mexico you dream of.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2010

If you like resorts, go to Cabo. If you like authentic Mexican people, exploring, and taking a relaxing break from tourist traps: GO TO LORETO. I can't say enough wonderful things about the people of Loreto...and ultimately Posada de las Flores. I would go back in a heartbeat. Continental breakfast was great, staff quiet but friendly, and rooftop views were charming. The whole place exudes charm! I will admit, there is no on site restaurant, but there are many within a wimpy stones throw. The trouble with Posada de las Flores is.....you eventually have to leave. :o)

Couldn't have been more pleased with this hotel. The staff was friendly, the rooms were charming and it was a short walk to some wonderful restaurants and the malecon. Highly recommend!

“Cool hotel with great service in center of town, not the modern granite hotel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 May 2009

Everything is walking distance: great restaurants, taco stand, market, etc. There are more touristy/modern hotels at the marina but they are not as inviting as this one. Service was great. They set up a boat for fishing at a better rate than at the docks. Packed a lunch for us, etc. Also, a very relaxing pool and bar on the roof.
