The place is a golf resort with a beutiful marina and bay. It competes with world wide resorts. It is new, good ambience beutiful scenario, foodis good and some what expensive. The hotel in itseld has a great price, ou would pay lots ore in the usa or that beutiful stay.
We went to a wedding, the coordinator was from the hotel, bad news she really was not expeeienced in coordinating a wedding.
I will definetley stay tnere soon again.

Made for the traveler who doesn't want to actually be in Mexico while in Mexico. Beautiful, comfortable rooms and everyone speaks English. I don't mean to be negative about this hotel...a room like this in Hawaii would cost at least four or five hundred a night, and the CostaBaja can be had for about $170 per. It's the only really first-class place to stay in La Paz now that the Paraiso del Mar is shut down. You will, however, pay American prices for restaurant meals in the hotel and in the marina adjacent to it. My advice, if you're staying here, is to head to the city of La Paz a few miles away for better prices on meals and tourist attractions and to soak in the real feel of a Baja city.

Many people travel to Los Cabos and take a one day trip to La Paz .... with this Hotel you should consider otherwise and make this your primary point.

It 's outside of La Paz, but close enough for a night escape to downtown. Is in route of CLub CantaMar for the trip to Espiritu Santo Island and the sea lions.

The restaurant Steinbeck's for dinner has great food and formal ambient

We take breakfast in the Mosaic restaurant and the waiter was very nice and bring to our table the dishes we asked from the buffet.

We stayed for nine nights/ten days at CostaBaja Resort in January 2012. It was a gorgeous setting looking out at the Sea of Cortez, La Paz night lights and nestled between two marinas. Our room was overlooking the swim up bar pool. It was very quiet, not many guests they said because of the economy. There was a free shuttle into town which was also very quiet- an "authentic" Mexican town without a lot of tourist hype. It was a bit windy - mid 70's during the day and 50's at night. We found lots of walks along the golf course that were beautiful and enjoyed all of the onsite restaurants. There are plenty of opportunities to go on sea excursions, swim with the whales, kayaking, etc. The hotel is very clean and all the grounds are beautifully maintained.
