On the website (casamex.com), we choose the "El Moro" room, a quiet one (not given on the street), which has a little kitchen and a nice balcony. It's middle size but the decoration is nice and it's clean. We spent there 3 nights and paid 85 US$ per night, continental breakfast included. We had breakfast in a nice interior patio but a little cold on the morning in this season.
The inn is well situated if you want to visit the old town by foot; we has a rental car and had no problem to park it in the street during our stay.
The landlord lady is nice and helpful and can help you arranging a trip to see the grey whales.
It's a place for people who want to relax, who like little inn. You can find nice restaurants and bars around and the malecon is only 300 metres away...
