Pros-Great location near the malecon but away from it. Nice folks run the place and its clean and well appointed
Negatives- not a great value,tepid hot water,no amenities such as pool, shampoo,soap,coffee
a bit hard to find but the location is in a good neighborhood.
Daily maid service is basic at best
Its kind of a blend of a hostel and a hotel for the active ecotouring adult. Definetly not a resort type place. Should be about 20% less expensive for what it is and I would give it another star.

Dear Guest,
We are sorry you were less than satisfied with your stay at our hotel in La Paz. We try to be very careful to represent our hotel for exactly what it is on our web site so our clients do not arrive with unrealistic expectations. So, yes it's true....we do NOT have a pool and we are most certainly NOT a resort but we never claim to have or be either of those. We do however provide soap, shampoo and complimentary coffee and have piping hot water so I'm not sure why you did not receive these amenities? Thanks for bringing this to my attention and I sincerely apologize you did not receive these basic amenities while staying with us.
As for value if you compare what we charge at $65/night (which includes 13% worth of taxes) for a standard room to similar hotels in La Paz in this prime location you will find this to be a very reasonable price.
As always we appreciate your feedback so we can continue to improve our service.

“Planned for two days, stayed five”
We found this hotel on trip advisor (our first time using this service) and it turned out to be perfectly suited to our needs. The staff were professional and courteous and helped us organize trips to Espiritu Santo and to see the whale sharks. Quiet and set back from the street, we couldn't think of anything else we wanted so we stayed here for our entire (short) vacation.

I have stayed here several times and each time found the rooms clean and comfortable. The place is away from the congested areas and a quiet small establishment. Upper floor has hammocks to lounge in. The staff is very helpful with suggestions for "touring". Very nice place.

“Nice, laid back place”
The rooms were way nicer then we expected. The whole place is quite, peaceful, & very well done. Also one of the more affordable places in La Paz, especially for what you get. Kick back on the hammocks at the top most part of the place and enjoy the La Paz sunsets.
