You might mistake it's run down appearance for a flop house, but it is respectable. Parking on the street. Old towels and wrapped mini bars of soap are given upon checkin almost as a contractual confirmation of getting the room. Spartan quarters, but perfect for someone that won't be spending much time in the room. There are two prices, old and new. I didn't look at the old rooms, but am curious now as to how 'old' they can be to the new quarters i stayed in.
Wireless Internet works ok. Grounded outlets. Scary thin sheets. No TV in the room, but there is a TV in the reception area. This seems like a friendly and comfortable place to hang out.
I do worry about security. The door is a normal door knob that seems like it could easily be jimmied open. If i plan on leaving the room for any time, i will put my important items in my vehicle.
I would recommend this room to anyone looking for price and close to the Malecon.
