I stayed in this hotel for four nights. I really enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly, the food was great and the overall environment is really pretty and great for families. There are two good pools and games room. The hotel is in the heart of the wine region which makes visiting the wineries easy and is also only 25 minutes from the attractive seaside city of Ensenada.

I looked at the other comments on Trip Adviser and was surprised to read the very bad critique. I was so surprised - because it was not my experience at all - that I talked with the owner. He said that what had happened had been an unfortunate incident caused by a misunderstanding at the hotel between reception and the night security, and offered to compensate the person who had this bad experience with a one night's free accommodation to put the matter right.

I stayed at Rancho Maria Teresa for the Christmas season, and it was great. The rooms are adequately arranged and very clean, there's also air conditioning in each room, a TV and internet service. Though it was freezing when i went the pool hall offers great acomodations for parties. The restaurant was great. very good food, and service was given. plus there is much to see in the Valle de Guadalupe and ensenada such as the wine route, which also leads to this beautiful ranch, which has its own winery. i have stayed there many times and never had complaints. During the summer enjoy the pool and spa, and the bike route on the ranch. enjoy beautiful skies away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We booked a room in the early afternoon, took a shower, paid and left our luggage in the room.

At our return around 10 PM, the person on duty refused to let us into our room, claiming that they gave it to someone else, and that they could not even let us in the court yard of the hotel because they had lost the keys to the yard door.

The keys claim turned out false, when other guests arrived and had to be let in. The person on duty kept us outside the door and threw our luggage over the porch. The staff grudgingly reimbursed our money, but we couldn't find any other hotel with availabilities in Ensenada that late and ended up sleeping in the car. Also, the staff refused to help us find alternative accomodation.

In case you insist to book (the property, otherwise, appears nice and is acceptably priced), make sure you or someone in your party stays in your room the entire time to avoid them giving it to someone else. Keep proof of payment to ask for your money back in case they throw you out.
