This hotel is a little hard to find. As you enter Esenada on the Scenic Highway (MX Rte 1) from the north the hotel is just a little past the first traffic signal. It is on a street corner on the left. If you pass the McDonalds restaurant you have gone to far. Turn at the corner the hotel is on (not at the traffic signal.) The gate to the hotel parking lot is about 100 feet from the corner on the right. This is a one way street.
This is definitely not the best part of town. I don't consider it dangerous, but walking the streets in this area late at night is probably not for the timid.
Security is very good. The hotel parking is gated and the gate is locked after midnite. There is also a security guard on duty 24 hours.
The accomodations are special for hotels in this price range in that they are clean and in good repair, both in the room and in the lobby and corridors. There is an elevator.
The room was very quiet given the heavy traffic in the area. There was an air conditioner in the room. My (internet) reservation was for a room with a queen size bed. What I actually got was two double beds. If this is important to you, you should probably confirm it at the desk during check in. Besides the beds, the furnishings included a night stand with lamp between the beds, a dresser with mirror, a single chair and a TV on its own stand. There was no table. The shower (no tub) was large and had good water pressure. There was also a balcony with two plastic patio chairs.
As with most things in Mexico, your experience may vary.
