We were visiting family (that were staying at an on-property vacation rental homes.) Their rental home was fantastic, our hotel was not. Overpriced at $150/night. The room had two rock hard double beds, TV with about 12 channels, no elevator (only two stories so not that big of a deal). The pool was clean, but cold. The gym was a converted suite with a number of broken pieces of equipment. Golf course looked nice, but was pretty empty. I realize it's a golf destination, so if you are going for that and don't mind paying the rates ($83 weekend for quests, $103 for non quests) you probably don't care about the quality of the room. If you are going as a non-golfer, you are proably better off staying either up in Rosarito or down in Ensenada (the Marina hotel is much nicer).
