“Very Comfortable and Enjoyable.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

My party consisted of myself and my husband and my father - the weekend to Chester being his birhday present. I chose Churton Heath Farm B&B mainly because of the location and favourable views on TA. I was not disappointed.
Vanessa and family were very welcoming and the two dogs adorable. The rooms were extremely comfortable, everything was thought of... the fridge a definite bonus for the fresh milk - none of those dreaded milk cartons for the cup of tea! Breakfasts were delicious and set us up for the rest of the day!
All in all a very fine location. - amazingly easy to get to the Park and Ride for Chester. Fantastic Grosvenor Arms - pub/restaurant 1 mile down the road... Vanessa happy to book your table.
Everything was good - from the very comprehensive website to the on-line booking - to the warm welcome we received. Can definitely recommend.

Room Tip: Two room - Beech room if you want a bath with shower over, Garden room if you prefer Shower only. B...

“Very comfortable and friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 May 2011

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday, Churton Heath is about 4 miles outside Chester so very easy to get into and also central to a lot of other attractions. The Farm is very much a working farm where they rear and sell their own meat in their farm shop, at the moment the shop is having an extension, we brought some sausages and bacon home with us, the bacon is what is served for the very excellent breakfast and how proper bacon should be! Vanessa and family are very welcoming and the rooms (only two of them so peace and quiet) are large and nicely furnished, the bathroom large and lovely too. Nice to have two armchairs and a coffee table to sit at. We actually had a good deal which offered three nights for the price of two, it is not a cheap B & B but you will understand why they have their 4 stars, so very good value for money. There are nice pubs for food within a few miles, The Grosvenor Arms is lovely but my favourite was the Ring O Bells in Chiseldon, a mile or two away, voted best pub in Cheshire 2011 and it was very deserved. Churton Heath supply the meat and it is cooked to perfection by a very good chef. Service was excellent, friendly and very efficient, loved it.

“Great Family Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 May 2011

This was our second stay at Churton Heath, our first with children. It was a total win. The rooms, service, and breakfast are all still superb, but add a play area for the kids and the "working farm" aspect and this is a family win! It was a little crowded with everybody (two adults 2 toddlers) in the same room, but they had the amenities to make it as comfortable as possible.

“Absolutely Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 March 2011

My wife and I walked part of The Sandstone Trail starting from The Pheasant (Pub) at Higher Buwardsley (going south)the views on the trail are absolutely wonderful, looking across the Cheshire plain, (the trail goes through the ancient woodland of Bickerton Hill)did 2 hours then 2 hours back to The Pheasant for lunch. which was very good
OK now the inportant bit Churton Heath Farm ( 10 min drive from pub) we travel a lot and this place is definately one of our all time favourite farm house B & B's:- Great welcome/beautiful house/excellent room/perfect breakfast/etc etc etc its just great.
Had our evening meal 5 min down the road in The Grosvenor at Aldford this was also spot on. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay.

“The perfect place, quiet, clean, very friendly atmosphere, just unique.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2011

I my wife Anna and daughters Martina aged 9 and Francesca aged 4 stayed at Churton Heath Farm from the 12th to the 19th December 2010 that is 7 nights. We found a very cosy house, our room was equipped with everything one might need during a holiday, breakfast was just great and abundant. Great hospitality from every member of the family! We highly recommend it and hope to come again.
