“lovely hotel and no shortage of sunbeds”

I was anxious having read some reviews but the hotel was great. Its a ten minute walk from Ao Nang centre ( this suited us to get away from the bustle , although not the prettiest of walks !!!)

The hotel staff are extremely friendly and the gardens, dining areas , pools and rooms are very clean and tidy. Breakfast had adequate choices ( although skimmed milk as an option would be be welcomed )

Tips : Rooms are two floors be mindful as1st floor rooms require 3 flights of stairs and no lift. The beach in Ao Nang is a working beach ... its 100 baht each way to railay beach by long boat and well worth it !!!

We didnt book trips at hotel as there were so many agents on the strip and managed to negotiate some good deals although im sure the girl at hotel would be open to negotiations.

“Excellent hotel, great facilities, service & very friendly staff”

My husband & I stayed stayed at the resort January/February. The hotel was just what we wanted, quiet location, great facilities, very clean, all with staff that couldn't do enough for you. We were a bit dubious about the walk to the beach after having read some of the previous reviews, but we actually enjoyed the 10 minute walk. Could've done with tuk tuks being more readily available from the hotel in the mornings but that was only because of the heat. They were available to hire for just 40 baht a couple (approx 80p) to take you to the beach from the end of the road.

The hotel rooms had hairdryers, a fridge, tea making facilities with free tea & coffee topped up daily, 2 free bottles of drinking water daily, free body lotion, shampoo/conditioner etc. So no need to weigh your suitcase down & take it yourselves. Breakfast offered a very wide choice from cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, to all types of bread & croissants to a full cooked English breakfast. There was even salad & Thai food if you're in to that type of thing first thing in the morning!!

We booked through Low Cost Holidays whom we'd never used before. We couldn't fault them at all. We'd ask for a high room looking over the pool & got just we'd asked for (only 3 floors anyway). There wasn't a holiday rep, but to be honest there are so many tourist information places around that this wasn't necessary at all.

The highlight of our holiday was wondering down to the beach & hopping on the long tail boats that took you over to the various different islands (300 baht each return - £6,00). What a great way to travel.

All in all fantastic holiday & can't wait to go back.

“Beautiful hotel and great location”

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it was fantastic.
Great service, very clean and rooms are lovely.
The hotel is about a 10 min walk from the beach and 5 minutes from the centre of Ao Nang. We loved the walk and location as it was quieter and would not like to have stayed right in the centre of busier Ao Nang so this hotel was perfect!

The breakfast buffet was very good. To be honest we did not eat in the evening at the hotel as we were on B&B ony and there are so many cheaper restaurants around. We also didn't stay at the hotel bar purely because of the price as it is very expensive, but a lovely bar al the same.
lovely swimming pool too!
I would definately stay here again

“A fantastic place, as simple as that”

We stayed in the Thai Village Resort in late January/early February. What a marvellous location this place was, with staff to match.
Having read many of the reviews here prior to our holiday, we approached it with a very open mind, but we're quite positive. We need not worry as this lovely resort was exactly what we needed. Our room was immaculate, large and kept very well during our stay. My wife let it slip that it was my birthday during our stay.....well. Ue the resort to decorate our room with flowers, fruit and towel art on more than one occasion!
Breakfast was and absolute delight, with a great choice of fruits, juices, cold cuts, omelette made to order as well as eggs etc.. They even had curries available and they didn't hold back on the spices either, I was in heaven!
I think what made the resort really special was its proximity to the town of AoNang, literally just down the hill. Once there, you have a sublime world of restaurants and bars to choose from, it was quite mind boggling.
I can only recommend this resort in the highest, it makes a fantastic base for any holiday you may wish to take in this part of the world.

“Very good hotel!”

We lived two weeks in this great hotel january 2012. Our room was spacious and clean, poolarea was very nice and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Very peaceful place, no disturbing noices from around. Breakfast was very good and versatile. It was near the beach and shopping possibilities. And if you didn*t want to walk every day to the "centrum", there was always Tuk-Tuk waiting near by the hotel. I also recommend to book trips from the hotel, the hotel guide was very friendly and spoke good english.

We will come back in december and we will book this hotel again :)

Room Tip: Room with views to the pool were great!
